As you may be aware Mike Leach isn’t very well and is standing to one side for the National Scout Car Races this year.
However, the teams from 105th Manchester with Gary Holdsworth and the Blackpool Timekeepers with Steve Williamson have got together to ensure that we still hold the event in 2019.
So, for this year:-

Unfortunately there is no overnight camping on site available and car parking space is a little limited.
The nearest Scout camp site is Hesley Wood.
The Nationals this year are being hosted jointly by Blackpool and Manchester Scout Car Teams therefore your help on the day will be necessary and most appreciated. Please could you contact us by e-mail with how many bodies you can spare. (1 from every team would more than sort it).
We would also really like some volunteers for 2020, you can be assured that our help will also be there but someone to sort out the location and local facilities is really needed. Please get in touch with Steve or Gary if you would even vaguely consider this and would like more info.
